I started my pickleball journey in Quebec, I was the number one player there for a long time before I left for British Columbia in 2020.  After I reached my goal (being player number one in Quebec) as a player around 2018-2019, I realized there were not many younger players coming in for the sport. It’s hard to improve as a player or get an elite league in the province if there are no coaches around. So, I decided to get my certification as a coach with the PPR program in Boston, US. I developed my program then and started to teach part-time. During that period, I was still working as a criminal analyst for Sûreté du Québec full time. I started teaching in September 2019. I didn’t have a lot of demands at the time. But four months later in December 2019, I was teaching 4-5 times a week already. That's when I decided to build something bigger, nationwide with the Canadian Pickleball Academy. I started the project of the "Canada Tour" for Pickleball camps. In March 2020, Covid hit us all, the projects were postponed and a year later, cancelled.

So now, in 2022, I am starting this new project with Karina Michaud Pickleball. I am looking forward to build a business in british-colombia and in Quebec  where I will be teaching my weekly lessons and private/semi-privates clinics. I will be traveling all over North America to offer pickleball Bootcamps. I will be the only canadian coach traveling all over the world to teach pickleball.
